In U of T, there are three main ways to get involved in research.

1. Work-study. Many professors look for Research Assistants for their labs through CLNx.
2. ROPs.
   • In UTSG, the application process is through CLNx.
   • In UTM, the process is through ROPAPP.
3. Independent Research Courses/Projects.
   • Sidney Smith Commons has a list of research-based courses here.
4. Volunteering. This is done through cold-emailing professors or asking them during office hours.
